Nicolas Montier :
L’Académie du Jazz de Paris lui décerne le prix Sidney Bechet en 1984 et 1985 et le prix
Mainstream en 1992. Il reçoit, pour sa participation à l’orchestre SAXOMANIA, le DJANGO d’OR 1996.
Nicolas Montier se produit au cours de concerts ou d’enregistrements avec des musiciens tels que Clark Terry, Benny Carter, Phil Woods, Johnny Griffin, Lavelle, Spike Robinson, Butch Miles, Duffy Jackson, Eddy Jones, Lew Tabackin, Claude Tissendier, André Villeger, François Biensan, Irakli, Alain Jean-Marie, François Laudet, Marc Richard, Michel Pastre, Jean Pierre Morel, Daniel Huck, Stan Laferrière, Guy Lafitte, Gérard Badini, Pierre Guicquéro, Philippe Milanta...
Son amour des « big-bands » le fait participer à de grandes formations prestigieuses : Super Swing Machine de Gérard Badini, Saxomania, Stan Laferrière tentet, Paris Swing Orchestra, Michel Pastre big-band, St Louis big band, François Biensen octet, Tribute To Swing, le François Laudet big-band et Le Duke Orchestra de Laurent Mignard.
Dans le même temps, il est le guitariste du quartet de Stan Laferrière (Tribute to Nat King Cole) et des Swinberries, et le saxo baryton du Marc Richard quartet. Enfin, il dirige un quintet, un quartet et un trio dont les CD sont diffusés régulièrement sur TSF et dont les concerts reçoivent un excellent accueil.
Il enregistre une quarantaine de CD dont huit sous son nom :

Les festivals de Nice, Edimbourg, Bayonne, Toulouse, Riom, le Mont Dore, La Teste, Hinx, Marciac, Montauban, Munster, Sion-Bernex-Sargans-Ascona (Suisse), Maastricht-Breda (Hollande), Juan-les-Pins, Auckland, Budapest, Sacramento etc. le sollicitent régulièrement.
Nicolas Montier was born in 1955 in Paris. A self taught jazzman, his curiosity made him try almost every instrument. Around the age of 20, it became clear that saxophone and guitar were, without a doubt, the way to go.
Since then Nicola’s dream has come true and more than thirty magnificent years have gone by playing this wonderful warm and lively music that is jazz.
Today this saxophonist/guitarist puts all his energy into his contact with the public for the pleasure of sharing this music that speaks as much to the body as to the soul – sound familiar ?
L’Académie du Jazz de Paris awarded him the “Prix Sidney Bechet” in 1984 and 1985 and the “Prix Mainstream” in 1992. In 1996 he received the “Django D’Or” for his participation in the ensemble Saxomania.

His love for big bands has led him to participate in such prestigious groups as Super Swing Machine de Gérard Badini, Saxomania, Stan Laferrière 10 tet, Paris Swing Orchestra, Michel Pastre big-band, St Louis big band, François Biensen 8tet , Tribute To Swing, François Laudet big-band and the Duke Orchestra of Laurent Mignard.
He also plays guitar in Stan Laferrière’s quartet (Tribute to Nat King Cole), and baritone saxophone in Marc Richard’s quartet. Last but not least he directs his own quintet, quartet and trio who’s CDs are regularly broadcasted on the jazz radio station, TSF and who’s concerts are always a great success with the public.
He has recorded more than forty CDs, eight of those in his own name.

Pierre Guicquéro :
• En 1987 il intègre l'orchestre professionnel de jazz traditionnel "SAC A PULSES". (création d'arrangements pour petite formation). Il devient à son tour musicien professionnel en 1990.
Depuis, il participe à de nombreux projets dans différentes formations, la musique improvisée étant le point commun à toutes ces expériences : Paris Swing Orchestra, Longnon Big-Band, Mojo Brass Band, Be-Bop Stompers, Julien Silvand All Star, Anachronic Jazz Band.
Il reçoit le prix "Fats Waller" 2000 de l'Académie du Jazz avec le Paris Swing Orchestra pour son album "We Got Rythm"
Il crée le PG Project (www.pgproject.com), septet de jazz pour lequel il écrit la musique.

Born in Vitry sur Seine in 1968, he studied music at the conservatory at the age of 8 and practiced jazz trombone in a family group in parallel to its classical learning.
• In 1987 he joined the professional orchestra of traditional jazz "SAC A PULSES". (creation of arrangements for small combo). He becomes a professional musician in 1990.
Since then, he has participated in many projects in various formations, improvised music is the common thread in all these experiments Paris Swing Orchestra, Big Band Longnon Mojo Brass Band, Be-Bop Stompers, Julien Silvand All Star, Anachronic Jazz Band .
He was awarded the "Fats Waller" 2000 Academy of Jazz with Paris Swing Orchestra for his album "We Got Rhythm"
He creates the PG Project (www.pgproject.com) jazz septet for which he wrote the music.
